Embedded Generation

In her bid to contribute to the nation’s vision of attaining 40,000 MW of power generation by the year 2020 and ensure at least 60% of the population have access to electricity, GEC offers embedded power solutions to client clusters in collaboration with the distribution companies. This is made possible through optimizing a mix of power sources such as natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, diesel and solar power.  As an Embedded Generator Licensee, GEC (as GLT) is currently developing a 30 MW cogeneration power plant in Ikeja, Lagos State.
